110-LSB: Life Settlement Broker Prelicensing Course (Internet)
The New York State Insurance Department (NYSID) Requires the next two pages be read prior to enrolling.
The Licensing Examination:
The Licensing Examination is a 100 Question (Multiple Choice) Examination that must be completed in 2 Hours. The Life Settlement license allows persons to engage in the business of life settlements.
A person may NOT sell original or new issue life insurance with this license. In order to sell original issue life insurance a license is required.
Any person holding a valid life insurance license for a period of one year or longer is exempt from the examination requirement.

The Final Exam must be taken under the supervision of a New York State Department of Insurance Approved Monitor and without any assistance or reference material.

Any attempt to access a Monitored Final Examination for this course when a NYS Insurance Department Monitor is not present is considered a serious breach of examination security. The candidate will not be permitted to take the Monitored Final Examination and the Department of Insurance must immediately be notified of any such breach.
